10th December 2012

Aston Manor has teamed up with Broad Street’s Pushkar, Brindleyplace’s Nuvo and Colmore Row’s Yorks Bakery Cafe to create some outstanding cider-based culinary delights.

These creations will be available for everyone to try at the ‘Brindleyplace Presents Christmas’ event in support of Help Harry Help Others on 4th December from 5.30pm to 7pm, where the Christmas lights will be switched on.

Aston Manor will then be sampling at the BIG Christmas Party and Acorn’s Santas on the Run event on 8th December from 12pm.

Experts in Indian cuisine Pushkar has taken the cider maker’s Malvern Oak and created the deliciously slow-roasted ‘Drunken Duck Batak’, whilst Nuvo has mixed Press 81 with spirits to blend the ‘Licor 81’ cocktail. For those with a sweet tooth, the bakers at Yorks Bakery Cafe have made a Toffee Apple Cider Cake with Kingstone Press cider.

The cider maker is also asking people inspired by its cider recipes to share their own inspired creations this Christmas via the @AstonManorCider twitter.
