We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader within the Quality Department. This role reports directly to the Quality Manager.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills. While knowledge of the drinks packaging sector is desirable, a Laboratory background is essential to be considered for this role.

The successful applicant must be flexible and willing to work shift patterns (including night shifts) and overtime as required. Current shift patterns are:

• 06:00 am to 14:00 pm
• 14:00 pm to 22:00 pm
• 22:00 pm to 06:00 am

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ Laboratory experience
• Experience in coaching and developing teams to achieve targets
• Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Effective people management skills
• Technical aptitude or the ability to learn quickly on the job
• Proactive and able to work unsupervised
• Willingness to assist in other areas of the business as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Quality team to meet departmental goals
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
• Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for quality issues
• Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance
• Support training and development of team members
• Liaise with other departments to ensure quality objectives are met
