We are proud to announce our sponsorship of Tiverton Town FC as the new season kicks off.
The deal comprises of a five-figure sum to refurbish the infrastructure of the club, particularly the function suite, which is widely used by the community.
An additional annual amount has also been agreed with Aston Manor’s key brand, Kingstone Press, as the main sponsor of the club, with the logo to be featured on the players’ shirts.
Paul Clifford, site director at Tiverton for Aston Manor Cider commented: “We are delighted to be supporting Tiverton Town and to be helping develop the infrastructure of the club and assist in the modernisation of the club and the function suite.
“We’ve more than doubled the work-force at our Tiverton site since taking over, and feel very much a part of the community. We are very happy to be able to give something back.”
Dave Wright, chairman at Tiverton Town added: “We are delighted to have the support of Aston Manor Cider. Not only will this benefit the club, but also the local community as the function suite is used by lots of people in the area.
“We’re looking forward to getting started with the refurbishments and fingers crossed to a successful season for the team!”
The Tiverton site is a key part of Aston Manor cider’s operations, having recently benefited from a three year investment programme in excess of £10 million which transformed production. It will also be benefitting from a further £5 million investment across the company’s production sites.
Aston Manor acquired the site in Tiverton in November 2009, at the time around 35-40 people were employed. The site now employs more than 85 people with further recruitment planned this side of Christmas due to increased production – to provide a complete additional packaging shift for the canning operation.
Tiverton Town play in the Southern League and South & West Division. The club celebrated its centenary last year.
