Louise Hazel Gold Medalist

On a local level Aston Manor continually look for
opportunities  to support the community. When
local heptathlete Louise Hazel lost her lottery
funding in 2008 Aston Manor were one of a
number of local companies who stepped to
support Louise in medal pursuit. The result was
impressive; Louise won gold for England at the
Commonwealth games in India and is now
working towards the London Olympics in 2012.

Aston Manor Cricket Club

The cricket club was founded in 1903 and is located in close proximity to the Brewery. Peter Ellis, MD states “It is important that companies support the local community in order to ensure talented youngsters achieve their dream of becoming professionals. Being a keen sportsman, it is great to see players such as Chris Woakes, Aston Manor born and bred, making his full international debut for England in the opening T20 which shows the true importance of sponsoring clubs like Aston Manor.”
